Hayo's strength has always been his beautiful pixel art - it is present in most of his work and this is no exception. It's a platformer with some puzzle elements and a bunch a charming touches thrown in. Some of the gameplay mechanics feel as if they could have been fleshed out, such as hiding in the shadows to avoid enemies.
The fact that you can't perform a sideways jump, while possibly there to suit some of the puzzles, feels like a glaring flaw regardless. This is a larger sequel to a small game Hayo developed previously.
